Rosario Talevi

Presentation

Since 2007, Rosario has been examining Berlin’s urban redevelopment, focusing on how local guardians (Kotti&co., Stadt neu denken, Haben & Brauchen, 100% Tempelhofer Feld) and their approaches (panel discussions, protests, open forums) have given rise to a form of informal, community driven urbanism. In presenting examples of the techniques used to communicate between citizen, experts and politicians, Talevi will open up the discussion for how existing and new strategies can be implemented in order to resist the neo-liberal trends which are dominating our cities policy and development.
