In the last fifteen years Dublin has transformed from a predominately white, indigenous population to a contemporary, multicultural city. In the wake of this change, fashion, music, youth culture and our notion of ‘Irishness’ has changed. Editor-at-large and man about town Daniel Gray presents his views on how this change is reflected in Dublin’s contemporary popular culture and youth politic.
Daniel Gray is managing editor at digital agency In The Company of Huskies, editorial consultant at Totally Dublin magazine, sometime contributor to the Irish Times, and one-time bronze medallist at the St. Mary’s BNS three-legged race. He writes about arts and culture, urbanity, society, music, but predominantly about himself.
